Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has suspended the sale of 3000 acres of land at the controversial Ng’ati land in Maela Naivasha.
Speaking in Naivasha on Wednesday, Nkaissery told off Kengen Company which has been mentioned as having bought the piece of land from a section of the directors fraudulently.
“I want to tell Kengen that there is no way they bought that piece of land from just a few people. Members of the society were not involved and that deal is null and void,” Nkaissery said.
The area has been rocked by wrangles after members of Ng’ati accused certain directors of selling a section of the society’s land without members’ approval.
Leaders led by area MP John Kihagi have called for the arrest of all those directors involved in the scam.
