Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has now threatened to sue two NASA leaders over their alleged claims that he is planning to kill them before elections.
Nkaissery said he will instruct his legal team to prepare a suit against his governor David Nkedianye and the Kajiado Central MP Memusi Kanchori for allegedly defaming him.
He was reacting to the accusations made by the duo when they recorded statements at the Kajiado police headquarters.
In the statements, they claimed that they feared for their lives.
"I'm waiting for the full details of the report after which I will take a legal action. Anytime you make an allegation, you must have evidence. By the way, do I look like someone who can eliminate my kinsmen just because of politics?" posed Nkaissery.
He said he has been entrusted to protect all Kenyans without any discrimination and further accused the duo of seeking sympathy votes through such allegations.
The duo accused Nkaissery of saying that Jubilee must win all seats in the region even if this meant eliminating those occupying them.
