Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo wants a commission of Enquiry to be formed to investigate the sudden death of Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery.

Government sources indicate that the tough talking CS died on Friday night after being admitted at Karen Hospital over undisclosed illness.

And in her Facebook post, Odhiambo suspected a third hand in Nkaissery’s death and demanded answers from the government.

“I smell a big fat rat now. In Kenya, a person holding such docket does not just die few days to elections. What is cooking out there?” she asked.

Millie further said: “Investigations needs to be done by an agency which is not from Kenya. He was a man who stood with the truth all the times.”

Jubilee administration had pouched Nkaissery from rival ODM party in 2015 and made his minister at the time Kenya was facing serious security challenges.

President Uhuru Kenyatta replaced the outspoken minister with Education CS Fred Matiang’i on an acting capacity.
