The late Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery is set to be buried, Saturday, at his Bisil farm, in Kajiado county.
This is according to the National Organising Committee chaired by Health CS Cleopa Maiku, mandated to prepare the funeral programme.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at a Nairobi church ahead of the Saturday burial.
“There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, the 13th of July 2017 at the Nairobi Baptist Church along Ngong road. The service begins at 9.30a.m and is open to the public,” said Mailu in a statement.
Members of the public have been advised to be seated by 8.30a.m.
Condolence books will be available starting Tuesday at specified venues to anyone wishing to pay tribute to the late CS.
“Condolence books will be available from tomorrow at the following venues: Harambe House, KICC, the Nairobi Baptist Church and all 47 county headquarters. Those who wish to pay tribute to the late Cabinet Secretary, may sign condolence books at these venues,” added the statement.
Nkaissery collapsed and died, Saturday morning, July 8, 2017.
