Bandari FC coach Paul Nkata has hit at his misfiring forwards after firing blanks during their Kenya Premier League (KPL) match against a defensive-minded Kakamega Homeboyz.
The two teams played on Saturday, May 27th at the Mbaraki Sports Club and the game that ended in a stalemate.
While castigating his strikers, the Ugandan tactician said that the team's forward line lacked the creativity and the aggressiveness to unlock the opponent's well-guarded back-line.
"I am not happy with the results given that we were at home. Our striking force was very wanting. We built up moves from the back to the midfield but the upfront, our strikers lacked creativity," stated the former KPL winner with Tusker FC.
Despite starting the league season on a high note, Bandari FC strikers have struggled in front of the goal even as the team's win less streak was extended to three matches following the draw.
With the league taking a three-week break, the dockers will be hoping to assess their league performance so far before coming for the second leg of the campaign with their first match being against a struggling Western Stima team at the Mbaraki Stadium, a match slated for June 18th.
