Bandari FC striker Edwin Lavatsa has earned rare accolades from his coach Paul Nkata following his blistering form that has seen the Dockers put aside an earlier relegation threat.Lavatsa was the man of the match when his side encountered relegation-threatened Muhoroni Youth, scoring a record four goals as Bandari went on to thump the Sugar millers 6-2. The former Gor Mahia hitman also gave Posta Rangers defenders a rather hectic time although he was not lucky to score in their barren draw on Sunday at Mbaraki.Nkata has praised his dangerman, urging him to continue with his fine form."Lavatsa missed a chance in the first half and another in the last 45 minutes but two of his good shots were on target. He is a good player and he drew a lot of motivation from our previous game against Muhoroni. If he had been just a little more clinical, we would have walked away with three points,” said Nkata.Bandari who currently lie ninth on the log with 40 points will face relegation-threatened Thika United away and Ulinzi Stars at home, as they fight to keep their top eight ambitions afloat.
