With Bandari FC technically out of the race for the Kenya Premier League (KPL) title, coach Paul Nkata is now focusing on leading his charges to GOTV Shield Cup glory.
Nkata who signed for Bandari after a stellar season at Tusker FC is now keen to end his first season with the Dockers on a high note with his eyes set on the cup title.Bandari who beat Nakumatt FC to win the 2015 edition of the competition under the stewardship of Twahir Muhiddin will take on the same side on Saturday in the round of 16 of the competition.Ahead of the match, the Ugandan tactician is confident his side can progress to the next round."It is a match we want to win and continue with our journey in the tournament, that is why we are taking it with all the seriousness it deserves," said Nkata, as quoted by Goal.com."Nakumatt is a good side and we all know that, and that is why we are thoroughly preparing for them. They can cause an upset. Yes, we want to win this competition, it is our primary priority and with the momentum we have, we can achieve the same," he added.
