A highly charged Kajiado governor David Nkedienye has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of thriving in propagandist’s campaigns.

Recently, Nkedienye warned the country’ top leadership against using propaganda to make a point at the expense of innocent Kenyans.

And on Tuesday, the fiery governor accused Kenyatta’s government of wrongly witch hunting opposition leader Raila Odinga over remarks on land ownership he had made in the region.

“In Kajiado we don’t entertain propagandists. Jubilee leaders should be careful and as a people, we cannot allow them to brainwash our people on non-existent theories,” he said.

“Let them compete with us on policies rather than propaganda. We cannot allow such campaigns in Kajiado given this are a cosmopolitan region,” he added.

Several politicians allied to Jubilee had called for prosecution of Odinga whom they accused of propelling tribal hatred.

Nkedienye said the country expected top leadership to engage in constructive politics rather than vilifying and defamatory campaigns.
