Nation Media Group (NMG) Chairman Dr Wilfred Kiboro has dismissed claims that the media house is set to be sold.
Speaking at Sarova Stanley during the release of the 2017 financial results, the NMG boss noted that the company was not being sold adding that any such rumors should be ignored.
"Nation Media Group is not on sale to anyone, ignore the rumours on Social Media," Kiboro said.
Going forward, Dr Kiboro explained that NMG will invest on its digital platforms and focus on delivering the truth.
"From the board perspective we will be investing a lot in the digital space as that is where the future of the business lies," he said.
"We will continue being unapologetic for telling the truth, that is what we stand for," he added.
Media reports had indicated that the country'stop media house could be on sale following a mass exodus of its columnists a couple of top journalists include; Linus Kaikai, Jamila Mohamed and Larry Madowo.
