Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Peter Kenneth has dismissed reports that he and Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko are in discreet talks that could see the two work together ahead of the next general elections.
"If there were any talks, I would have told you, I'm not aware but there are processes and i have been very very clear with this processes it can be through consensus or nominations and we are ready for both," he said.
Speaking on Sunday shortly after attending a church service at the House of Grace church, Nairobi west, the former Gatanga MP, however, conceded that he could work with any of the Jubilee Party candidates if circumstances provided.
"I have worked with both bishop Wanjiru and Senator Sonko in Parliament before, so if we go the consensus route and it is agreed that is it. If not we will go for nominations," he noted.
Senator Mike Sonko has been one of Peter Kenneth's fiercest critics since the latter declared interest in the City's top seat on a Jubilee Party ticket.
