Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyajui has said he will not allow Opposition supporters to demonstrate in Nakuru.Through a statement on Monday, Kinyajui said Nakuru has been experiencing relative peace and he will not allow anyone to disrupt it.
Kinyajui said anyone who feels aggrieved by IEBC should seek legal redress.
"Destruction of property and loss of life as witnessed in a number of counties, is not a prerequisite for reforms," he said.
The county boss added: "If anyone is offended by IEBC, the right avenue to seek redress is in the courts and parliament."
The governor issued a state after Nakuru ODM office wrote to the police giving notice of holding demonstrations in the town.
The demos were to be held up to the South Rift IEBC office in Nakuru.
"We shall not allow any acts that threaten our peace," Kinyajui said.
