Deputy President William Ruto has said there is no election that will be held in 90 days.
NASA leader Raila Odinga had told his supporters there will be another election in 90 days. This is after he boycotted the repeat presidential poll on October 26.
Speaking to Al Jazeera on Sunday evening, Ruto said Kenya is not an animal farm.
"Kenya is not an animal farm where there are animals that are bigger than others. Kenya will move on and there will be no discussion with Raila regarding elections," the DP said.
He said the repeat presidential poll has met the constitutonal threshhold and hence no more talk over an election.
"Our statement to our friend Raila [is that] Kenya is a constitutional democracy. Whatever he is alleging about an election is not in the constitution. However popular they are they cannot change constitution," he said.
The Jubilee deputy party leader said the Opposition candidate chose to pull out of the poll and should thus live with the repurcussions
"Raila chose, out of will, not to participate in the election. Kenyans had nothing to do with that decision. He should stop threatening peace in the country," he said.
