Opposition leader Raila Odinga has issued fresh demands to electoral body barely a month to October 17th presidential repeat poll.
IEBC, through Chairman Wafula Chebukati on Monday said the commission had ironed out pending issues adding that they are ready for the polls.
But at Kibra on Tuesday, a charged Odinga highlighted issues that he wants ironed out by the commission before fresh polls.
“I have seen a long letter from IEBC that highlights issues that we were to discuss. I want to repeat that we shall not have elections on 17th before our demands are made.
“There are no elections this country can allow with IEBC as currently constituted. This is our stand and it remains so,” he said.
Among the issues he wants addressed before elections is removal of various electoral officials including Returning Officers and some members of secretariat.
Also, Odinga wants the commission to comply with Supreme Court orders by opening servers for audit before next elections.
He maintains that unless the demands are met, his NASA collation will not be part of the elections.
