Speaking to journalists in Kisauni, after he witnessed the opening of the container that had the last paper - Physics practical paper - the PS commended the manner in which the exams were carried out across the country.

He said the ministry has already dealt with the few cases of impersonation and opening of exam papers early.

“We have not had any major challenges other than a few cases of officers opening the papers earlier than required. However, I would want to believe that some of these cases may not have been necessarily done by people intending to cheat the process,” said Kipsang.

He assured Kenyans that the marking process will be conducted in a clean manner, adding that they are already preparing the marking centres.

He said most of the centres will be located in Nairobi, for ease of supervision.
