National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders say they will not hold any meeting with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chiefs.The Alliance has instead said it will only engage with the electoral commission through an open and structured national dialogue."NASA does not intend to hold any casual meetings with the IEBC as currently constituted or under the ad hoc smokescreen in which it operates in which it operates currently," Nasa co-principal Musalia Mudavadi said in a press conference, Thursday."We have made the considered decision that henceforth, we will only engage the commission through an open and structured national stakeholder dialogue in which binding will be made and shared with the public," he added."No more boardroom meeting with IEBC," the ANC leader noted.The opposition team also denied being aware of a meeting that was postponed which was to take place on Thursday morning between them and the IEBC.IEBC announced the postponement of the said meeting on Thursday morning saying it will be rescheduled to another date."As at now, NASA is not aware of a scheduled meeting with IEBC," Mudavadi insisted.A meeting between Nasa, Jubilee party and IEBC that was scheduled to happen on Tuesday this week on IEBC preparedness on the upcoming October 17 repeat presidential poll flopped after Jubilee officials went to the meeting late and found the Nasa principal had already left.
