With only four days remaining to the closure of the June transfer window, Kenya Premier League side Bandari FC will not be making more signings.

The Mombasa-based side has already roped in three players to replace three others who have left the club.Gor Mahia winger Baron Oketch joined on a one-year loan deal while Tanzanian duo Hamisi Mwinyi and Fred Cosmas have also been signed by the Paul Nkata-coached side.Musa Mudde, Dan Sserunkuma and Lucas Indeche have left the club. While confirming the development, Nkata expressed optimism that the new signings will give the club new balance if they click with the rest of the team."I will not be signing more players. I released three and signed three so I won't bring in more players. I have a good balanced team and I hope the new players will click with the rest to help the team perform well," he said.Meanwhile, Nkata has showered Uweza FC team with praise after his side survived a late scare to book their place in the next round of the GOTV Shield Cup following a 3-1 win in a match played on Saturday at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos. The Dockers took an early lead before adding the second goal at half an hour mark. However, the minnows, Uweza FC pulled one goal back towards the break to set a stage for a tension-packed second half.Bandari would later score to put the match beyond the reach of the determined opponent.Speaking after the match, Nkata admitted that his charges survived a late scare as Uweza searched for an elusive equalizer."Playing against small teams is never easy because they play without any fear at all; they have nothing to lose. Uweza played very well and I want to congratulate them for the fighting spirit, they gave us a good game. After we scored two goals, complacency crept in, we conceded and ended up putting pressure on ourselves but luckily managed to score a third goal to seal the win," said the Ugandan tactician, as quoted by futaa.com.The win also ended Bandari's four-match win-less streak.
