Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has said President Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn into office for a second term whether National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders like it or not.Mvurya said Uhuru will be sworn in once he is declared the winner in the repeat presidential poll held on October 26.Speaking to journalists in Kwale Town on Sunday, the former Raila Odinga ally said that no one will stop Uhuru's swearing-in.The Jubilee Governor said President Kenyatta has met the constitutional threshold required to be declared the president-elect."President Kenyatta's swearing-in will proceed once he is declared the winner of the repeat election whether Raila Odinga and his troops like it or not," said Mvurya.The county boss accused opposition leaders of allegedly inciting their supporters to violence.He asked the opposition to stop questioning and discussing the repeat poll results since Raila withdrew from the race.Mvurya at the same time urged Coast residents not to be swayed by NRM.He alleged that the movement’s agenda is to cause violence and tribal divisions among Kenyans.The opposition has discredited the October 26 repeat poll terming it a sham.Led by Siaya Senator James Orengo the leaders have threatened to swear in Raila if IEBC declares President Kenyatta the winner of the repeat poll.
