Bondeni Police station OCS Solomon Kiriitu has vowed not to relent in the fight against criminal groupings.

Speaking in Nakuru  on Monday during a community forum held at Bondeni Estate, the OCS was categorical that security is a responsibility for all in the society.

While citing the notorious confirm group that has been engaging in fraud through mobile money transactions in Kivumbini Ward, the OCS stated that he is out to ensure such criminal groupings are no more.

“We have a group called ‘confirm’ and we are pursuing it. I will not relent on the same but I will ensure I serve the people in ensuring such groupings are no more. Already 24 have been arrested and arranged in court,” he said.

He called on the community to help the police in combating crime through reporting any illegal groupings in the society.

The OCS also took the moment to warn parents to be careful on the activities their children involve in during this festive season saying the law will not spare any criminal.

“If you are a parent and your son is involved in criminal groupings be warned,” he said.

Meanwhile, the officer urged residents who own dogs to ensure the animals are well contained to avoid the menace that has been experienced in areas of Bondeni and Kivumbini where stray dogs have caused injury to residents.
