According to Korane, all employees in the county should work and improve service delivery to benefit all residents.
"We must deliver to the people. Any kind of laziness and corruption will not be tolerated among the county employees throughout the 5 years", he said.
Korane accused his predecessor Nathaf Jama for tolerating corruption during his tenure.
The Jubilee governor said the former county boss failed to transform the lives of the people.
"Jama's government was corrupt, achieved nothing for the people of Garissa with the ghost workers siphoning public money from the county," said Korane.
Korane said that the new government has a task to transform and develop the county despite the burden left by the previous government.
He asked county employees to work as a team to achieve development in the county.
