Kisumu residents have warned the self-proclaimed NRM General Miguna Miguna against his drama of attacking the government when he returns to the country as the political differences between NASA and Jubilee had been solved when the opposition leader Raila Odinga met with President Uhuru Kenyatta at Harambee house in Nairobi.
Kisumu residents added on that the fight against electoral malpractices will be dealt with in a more diplomatic way.
After Raila met Uhuru, Miguna Miguna insisted that the fight for electoral reforms was still alive and termed President Kenyatta's government as illegitimate.
" We want to thank Miguna for the role he played during Odinga's swearing-in ceremony. But it is now time to forget our political differences and work together for the better of the country. No more NRM drama. We want diplomatic ways of sorting out issues,'' David Otieno an ODM supporter in Kisumu said.
Kisumu residents advocated for peace and were satisfied between the unity pact between Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta.
They asked Miguna to stop attacking the Government and join hands with the other leaders from the region in supporting the government.
"General Miguna should stop attacking the Government and join hands with other NASA leaders in working together with the government for the better of the country," another resident added.
