Odinga also urged young couples to ensure they have registered as he plans to try his forth and perhaps last attempt to clinch presidency.

The opposition leader is expected to face a more organized Jubilee administration which has unveiled President Uhuru Kenyatta as his flag bearer.

“I want to challenge women in marriage to ensure their husbands are registered as voters. They have that tendency of ignoring such exercises. It is your right to abating from having sex with people who are not registered,” Odinga told a gathering at Homa Bay High School.

“It’s my also my request that boyfriends ensures their girlfriends register and vice versa. We have numbers that can remove Jubilee from power,” Odinga said.

He urged leaders from the region to take fully responsibility over voter registration by promoting civic education.
