Tusker FC have dismissed claims that there is sabotage from the players.

Through the team's Media Liason officer Diana Yonah, Tusker said they are committed to retaining their Premier League title this year.

Speculations of dressing room issues were rife on Sunday after Tusker suffered a 0-2 loss away at Thika, prompting coach George Nsimbe to decline talking to the media.

Yonah added that the club has no intention to sanction the coach over the dwindling fortunes.

Assistant coach Francis Baraza on Monday blamed the poor performance on sheer bad luck, pledging that the team will improve as the season progresses.

“That issue (of sabotage) is a very serious one and I do not want to comment on it. I have heard that from fans but in my estimation I think that luck was not been on our side. We are training every day according to schedule, the players are putting their best efforts both in training at in the game and I know that with time, everything will be okay,” he said.

The Thika loss is the second consecutive one the brewers have faced with the first being the league opener where they were humiliated with a 5-2 beating by newcomers Nzoia Sugar.
