Nyamira County Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has said that nothing is going to overturn the county's decision to sack workers who forged documents to secure employment at the county.
Nyaribo said it will be unlawful for the fake workers to continue getting salaries from the people's pockets instead the funds could be used to fund development projects.
"Nobody is going to change the decision by the county to send home over 30 workers who forged academic documents to be employed in the county.
"Even if the workers goes to the court, they will not be allowed to get their way back to their work stations. There are learned people in Nyamira who should be hired to work and not rogue workers," he noted.
He called on elected leaders from the county to stop criticizing the county leadership and offer the necessary support for the county to improve on service delivery.
"MPs and MCAs should stop unnecessary criticism on the county leadership. It is time we should work as a team to ensure the electorates get access to quality services across the county. Leaders in office must be development oriented," he said.
Nyaribo said since Governor Nyagarama left the county to the US, he has never bent rules for anyone.
