The treasurer of National Olympic Committee of Kenya (Nock) has been arrested.
Fridah Shiroya was arrested on Tuesday night and will be expected in court on Wednesday.
The treasurer is expected to answer charges of theft, abuse of office as well as the neglect of official duties.
Shiroya is the latest employee of Nock to be arrested right after the Rio fiasco which saw Team Kenya athletes mismanaged.
Kipchoge Keino , the Nock chairman was on Tuesday grilled by the DCIO over the same matter.
"I was asked about the kits that I had given my grandsons and explained that this was not part of the products for Team Kenya," he said.
The organising committee was recently disbanded by the Sports CS, Hassan Wario who said that action would be taken against the culprits and the matter solved.
