Speaking to our reporter on Monday as the exam commenced, school head teacher Grace Nyamweya said it is a recurring challenge but the school is looking for ways to curb it.

“It is a problem that we have been facing every year since the school is situated along the road, so there is a lot of noise from the vehicles and general noise,” said Nyamweya.

Despite all that, Nyamweya said they have prepared their candidates well and all the students took part in the examinations, further saying they hope to excel.

“We have prepared them well and we want them to perform as they have been doing with other evaluation tests and other county exams,” added Nyamweya.

She further added that they have registered two categories of candidates; regular and private, who are registered with the social services as candidates.

Nyamweya also said that they are going to perform well since their previous performance reflects their success; they had a mean mark of 289 in last year’s results and have set a mean mark of 300 and above in this year’s.
