Speaking in the county assembly on Thursday after the house raised concern on the exact number of persons working in various departments, Osoro said that there is need for a head count of workers in the county government to be carried out before the budgeting process for the financial year 2016-2017 to commence.

"Mr. Speaker, matters of this honarable house must be taken seriously by the executive members of the county government since it has reached a time where the executive members of this county can fail to give vital information to his house  and for so i think we must have a head count of all the staffs since some departmental heads have failed to accord the same," said Osoro.

Osoro further said county assemblies are arms of government and they must be accorded the necessary respect it deserve, while urging the MCAs to exercise their powers according to the constitution.

"County assemblies in the republic of Kenya are important arms of county governments and they must be respected, that is the reason I am urging honarable members of this house to exercise their powers to full capacity," added Osoro.
