A nominated MCA in Nakuru has touched hearts after she built a house for an elderly sick woman.
Jane Wambui, a nominated MCA for gender top up in the Nakuru County Assembly, built a house for Hannah Njeri who lived a squalor life in Gilgil.
Njeri, 62, is nursing diabetes and depends on well wishers.
She is also crippled and suffers high blood pressure too.
Wambui said she realized Njeri needed help when she came across her during last year's door to door campaigns.
The nominated MCA said she was touched when she realized the elderly woman depends on well wishers.
"I was touched when I saw Hannah Njeri during my door to door campaigns. She is diabetic, crippled and hypertensive and depende on the society," Wambui said.
Njeri thanked the MCA for her gesture.
