Justine Wanjiru Kihumba has replaced the late Damaris Wangari Mbuthia as a TNA Nominated MCA in Nakuru County Assembly.
Wanjiru was sworn in on Thursday totalling up the number of MCAs in the assembly to seventy three.
She was second in the list forwarded to the Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for nomination after the 2013 general election where the late Mbuthia was listed first.
''I will try and do my best to advocate for the TNA manifesto being the party that nominated me,” Wanjiru said after the swearing in ceremony at the county government grounds.
The seat fell vacant following the death of Damaris Wangari after a long battle with breast cancer.
She died at the Nairobi Hospital in July this year and was buried on August 2.
