The tribulations facing the ODM are yet to come to an end as more politicians affiliated to the party express discomfort with its leadership.

Barely days after Paul Otuoma, the ODM vice chair, resigned, with party Secretary General Ababu Namwamba hinting that he was on his way out as well, ODM Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura officially announced his bid for the Ruiru parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket.

Mwaura feels that the Jubilee Coalition is the place he most wants to be and that they will represent the interests of the disadvantaged better.

He also feels that the current government has done well and wants to be a part of it.

"I have soul searched for a long time and I feel moving to the Jubilee Coalition is in my best interests and that of the people I represent," said Mwaura.

Mwaura lambasted the ODM leadership accusing it of superintending what he termed as the sinking of the party.

The latest development has come two days after ODM leaders from West Pokot county defected to the ruling Jubilee coalition.
