Speaking on Saturday at a fundraiser at Ademasaajida ward, Duale pleaded with residents of all counties in the region to vote the current government back to office come 2017.

"Nunow -Madogashe road will be finished end of 2016. Mandera-Elwak road is already on course and the certificate for Madogashe-Wajir road will be issued within this month,"  Duale said, adding that people from the region hold top positions such as ambassadorial, ministerial and other top brass positions courtesy of Jubilee.

"The Jubilee government has given us free hospitals, access roads, jobs not meaningless pledges...Ask us what we haven't done, not what wasn't been done decades ago. This government will be inclusive and irrespective of party affiliations," he added.
