Sugow, who is vying for the senate seat on ODM ticket, said that North Eastern is purely NASA.

Speaking during campaign rallies in Ijara on Tuesday, Sugow asked Jubilee to back off the region.

He said that the ruling government has not done anything for residents to come and demand for their votes.

“Jubilee should forget about getting votes in North Eastern because the region is solidly behind NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

Sugow said that the Jubilee has nothing to offer to North Eastern people. He accused the UhuRuto led government of discriminating the region in terms of development.

Sugow asked residents not to be confused by Jubilee’s fake promises and instead vote for NASA on August 8.

The ODM senator hopeful said that NASA government will promote the interests of every community in the country.

Sugow at the same time pleaded with residents to endorse his senatorial bid.

He promised to lobby for money to the county government. The senator hopeful said that the money allocated to the county is not sufficient to run and implement development projects.

Sugow is eyeing to send incumbent Yusuf Haji packing on August 8.

Haji is seeking re-election on Jubilee party ticket.
