Garissa Parliamentary seat aspirant Nassir Dolal has urged North Eastern region locals to support the National Super Alliances (NASA) saying that the alliance has the solution to challenges facing the region.
Speaking in Garissa Town on Thursday, the ODM aspirant said that NASA will champion for equality and also address historical injustices in the region.
Dolal said that North Eastern locals have been short-changed by the ruling Jubilee government.
He claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government has not done anything to boost the living standards of North-Eastern locals for the last four years he has been in power.
The ODM aspirant claimed that North Eastern region remains poor in terms of infrastructure and economy.
“Jubilee government lied to us (locals) in 2013 with promises they are yet to fulfill up to now,” he said.
The Garissa Township aspirant said that North Eastern will vote for a government that will address the plight of locals.
He urged locals not to elect leaders who have failed to deliver on development.
Mr Dolal assured locals that a NASA government will not discriminate in service delivery.
The aspirant is seeking to unseat National Assembly leader of Majority Aden Duale in the August 8 elections.
