A section of Jubilee leaders from North Rift have now regretted support President Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection.

For weeks now, Uhuru has struggled to stamp authority in his support bases with North Rift affected severely.

At Moiben on Friday, Jubilee Youth League Volunteer Network led by John Kipkoech accused Uhuru of shortchanging Rift Valley region, citing recent ousting of MPs from committees.

"Out support has been taken for granted and that is why he is antogonising our representatives,' he said.

He further said: "We now fully support Raila Odinga's inauguration. Supporting Jubilee was the worst mistake we did."

Early this week, Moiben MP Silas Tiren was ousted from Agriculture committee while his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter lost his chairperson seat in the Labour committee.

Already, the MPs have warned of further cracks in Jubilee, accusing DP William Ruto of allegedly failing to stamp his authority in Jubilee party.
