A section of North Rift leaders has called on veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga to conduct himself in a statesman-like manner.Led by Uasin Gishu governor, Jackson Mandago, the leaders asked Mr. Odinga not to make good on his swearing-in threat, saying that the country was greater than the political ambitions of individuals.''Those who are planning to swear themselves in, we are telling them that we have a properly installed government. 2022 will come and if they still have the energy to run, they will be free to do so. We want peace and order.'' Mandago said.The North Rift leaders were speaking during a church fundraiser in Soy Constituency.President Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in for his second and final term after a presidential rerun that was boycotted by the opposition.The opposition has maintained that it does not recognise the Uhuru presidency and will work towards resisting it.
