According to Nandi Senator-elect Samson Cherargei he intends to work with Governor Stephen Sang.

“We have already agreed on basic issues like the fact that we should not entertain corruption, which has ruined development in our county,” Cherargei said as reported by The Star.

Cherargei also shared that he believes him and Sang share the same interests for the residents of Nandi.

According to reports, Samwel Poghisio of Kanu won the West Pokot senatorial seat and is believed to be good friends with Governor John Lonyangapuo.

“As a team we will open a new chapter in developing our county and that can only be achieved through unity,” Poghisio said.

One of the main agenda's for these leaders will be to ensure they carry out their manifestos and do their best to serve their residents.
