Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has laughed off claims that his political star has been dimmed after ditching NASA for Jubilee.
Omar said this on Friday, adding that politicians from Kisumu and Siaya have been texting him telling him that he is politically finished after parting ways with NASA leader Raila Odinga.
“I am not finished politically. This is not Kisumu. This is Mombasa,” he said at a meeting with Mombasa elders at Jubilee Hall.
“We believe in God. What God will give me, even if 20 Railas are against it, they will not deny me what God has planned for me,”said Omar.
Omar said he ditched the veteran politician because their objectives have greatly changed from 2007 when he was Raila's die-hard supporter.
