Jubilee party has a 2022 roadmap and no one can change, not even the President or interferences from opposition parties.

That was what majority leader in parliament Aden Duale told the parliament on Wednesday during the debate of a party sponsored motion on Uhuru-Raila meeting tabled by minority leader John Mbadi.

Duale said the party had agreed during the formation that after President Uhuru Kenyatta's tenure, his deputy will take over. He said party decisions are a creation of delegates meeting and not individual decisions and so as much as the President solidifies the unity of this country, the party won't allow him to make decisions on 2022 without consulting the party organ.

The debate on Uhuru-Raila pact got an overwhelming support of members of parliament from both divides. Some even requested the President to also dialogue with other principals of NASA so that everybody is on board making it easy for him to role out development projects.

Raila Odinga, through historical background, shows that he is on record as using those unity pacts to destroy the ruling party and jeorpadise the party succession plans.

Cherangany member of parliament Joshua Kutuny told the house that the future of Jubilee party is no more, he said the agreement to support Deputy President for 2022 contest is non-binding and it's up to Ruto to chart his own political journey without the backing of President Kenyatta.

He went ahead to inform the house that even the Rift Valley voting block meant to be a solid block for Ruto is so divided between him and Baringo senator Gideon Moi.

Duale responded by telling Kutuny that he is a party rebel who has never attended party functions and that most of his actions suggest that he belongs to a different political party.

He asked him to quit the party and seek a fresh mandate from the public.
