Nyaribari Masaba MP Ezekiel Machogu has reiterated that Kisii County elected MPs are united and there is no one who can split the unity among them.
Machogu said that there is no disharmony among Kisii MPs as claimed by a section of Kisii politicians led by Deputy Governor Joash Maangi.
"As MPs we have agreed to form a unity block so that we can speak in one voice to negotiate for the national cake,” he said.
He rubbished Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi for terming the unity as a waste of time.
“We all know what Maangi wants ahead of 2022. He is interested in succeeding Governor James Ongwae but I wish to assure him that he should brace for a tough contest for the Kisii gubernatorial seat since the unity we have is not a waste of time,” he added.
According to the MP, Kisii MPs have potential to form government and any politicians who will take the lawmakers for granted will be shocked to see the MPs taking the country's leadership.
The lawmaker added that it is not time to play dirty politics but time to deliver quality services to the county residents
