Joseph Onyango has been appointed as the National Police Commission as the secretary and the CEO.
Before assuming office on Monday, Onyango was a director at the Public Service Commission.
"I look forward to working with happy staff in a conducive working environment. I am also committed to the values of NPSC and believe in teamwork and work-life balance in achieving high performance," he said during his inaugural meeting with members of staff.
He further revealed the appointment of the commission's directors.
They are Christine Chepkurui (director, Human Capital Management), Jona, Ngau (director, Corporate Support Services) and Patrick Odongo (director, Communication and Outreach).
