KCCA striker Derrick Nsibambi scored late as nine-man Ugandan Cranes earned a crucial point in a one-all draw against Ethiopia during their Cecafa group B clash played on Sunday 10 December at Bukhungu Stadium.
Abdela Sani opened the score sheets for Ethiopia in the 24th minute to put Ethiopia ahead.
But Nsibambi struck three minutes from time to take the defending champions into the semis.
It was however a sad outing for Uganda as they completed the match two men down after prolific Isaac Muleme and counterpart Timothy Awany were sent off for respective second bookings.
