The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has acquired 12 new motorbikes in a bid to crack down on traffic offenders.

Director General Mr Francis Meja received the motorbikes that will be used for patrols mainly.

According to the enforcement director Njeri Waithaka, the motor bikes will enhance their enforcement activities towards ensuring road safety for all.

Each and every motorbike will have a breathalyser and the riders will subject drivers to breathe test to check alcohol levels when relevant,” Waithaka is quoted by Nairobi news.
