National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) over the weekend arrested more than 100 drunk drivers during a major operation Nairobi.

The crackdown, which was the first after NTSA acquired 50 new alco-bow gadgets.

The crackdown was conducted along Thika Superhighway and Lang’ata Road.

Earlier on, NTSA Director General Francis Meja stated that the gadgets had been distributed all over the country.

"We have been undertaking evidence-based options and the addition of the gadgets will enhance our efforts significantly,” Meja stated.
