The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has scrapped off manual registration of vehicles.

NTSA unveiled an online platform in June 2016 where motor vehicle registrations would be done.

The Transport Trans Integrated Management System cost the Authority Sh800 million.

“From January 1,2017, NTSA will not accept any manual submission of transfer of ownership applications,” said Francis Meja, NTSA Director General.

Other services that are available online are driving license issuance, renewal and application for road service licence.
