In the wake of deaths caused on roads due to careless driving, the National Transport and Safety Authority has stepped up its efforts at restoring sanity to the transport sector.The authority's boss has revealed plans to deal with careless drivers and pedestrian designed to reduce the casualties and fatalities.''We have increased our presence on most roads which we believe will go a long way in helping us improve our efficiency. Drivers should henceforth be more cautious on the roads.'' Said Mr. Meja according to a piece in the Sunday Nation.The NTSA has come under heavy criticism over the scale and frequency of the road casualties, with many accusing it of sleeping on the job.
