NTV's managing director Linus Kaikai has reacted on the alleged reports that he was leaving the giant media house for Royal Media Services as the chief operations officer.
Kaikai who doubles up as the chairperson of the editors guild refuted the reports which were first published on the local business' site, the Business Today.
According to Kenyans.co.ke, Kaikai denied knowledge of him leaving NTV to join the rival station.
"I am not aware of such thing, I'm not leaving NTV. I have no further comment," Kaikai said on Monday.
Business Today had published that Kaikai was set to join RMS to replace Farida Karoney who has since been nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta as the Lands Cabinet Secretary, she is still awaiting confirmation by parliament.
Business Today also reported an alleged fall out between Kaikai and other two NTV journalists, Larry Madowo and Ken Mijungu, who defied an order from Editor-in Chief Tom Mshindi not to broadcast live the NASA leader RailaOdinga's swearing in event on January 30th.
Larry Madowo has since terminated his contract with the Daily Nation as a columnist after he alleged that the media house refused to published his article.
Royal Media services is yet to announce a replacement for Farida Karoney.
