[Photo| Courtesy]At least three people were shot dead, in Bondo, Siaya County, following Friday's anti-IEBC demonstrations by the National Super Alliance, which also left two others seriously injured. Confirming the incident, Bondo OCPD James Kiarie said police officers were forced to open fire after more than 200 armed protesters stormed the Bondo police station, with possible intentions of harming the officers. In Migori County, three people wee seriously injured, during the demos, including a 73-year-old granny, who witnesses said was coming from the market, before police shot her.In Kisumu, at least four people are nursing gunshot wounds at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital - Russia, following the demonstrations which left the police and demonstrators in running battles.Head of the hospital Julianna Otieno said, one of the injured was in critical condition after a bullet stuck in his skull.12 pupils of St Camels Kindergarten were among those who were rushed to hospital, treated and discharged after inhaling teargas, lobbed by police officers.Protesters also accused police of beating up a 12-year-old boy near Lwang'ni beach in Lake Victoria, and asking him to dive into the lake, only for fishermen to save him.Most of the witnesses said the police brutalized even those who were not protesting, and anyone, who they came across.
