[Photo|Courtesy]At least four people have been dismissed at the electoral body.Recent reports indicate that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), has fired one of its staff, few days to the fresh presidential election in October.It is believed the personal assistant to chairman, Wafula Chebukati's, has been relieved off his duties.Gekara Muoni was allegedly sacked for leaking confidential material from her boss' office.He as well reportedly tried to get his mother Nominated as a Member of County Assembly in Nyamira County, contrary to his contract.This comes few days after another internal memo from Chebukati to CEO Ezra Chiloba leaked.The signed by Chebukati, demanded dismissal of ICT Director James Muhati, Paul Mugo - ICT coordinator and Boniface Wamae - ICT Officer, at the Commission, for allegedly failing to ensure running of smooth ICT mechanisms leading to the nullification of the August presidential election.
