Nurses from Kisii County have threatened to down their tool until justice is done after one of them who was allegedly slapped by a member of county assembly.
Led by their chairman in Kisii branch Oigo Fredrick they held peaceful demonstrated to Kisii Central police demanding for justice, they accused the police of not arresting the alleged members of county assembly until now.
“We are shocked that until now the police have not arrested the MCAs we are appealing to them to arrest him so that justice is done,” said Oigo
In addition, they said that is not the first time they have been mistreated by the members of county assembly hence they need justice to be done and the suspect arrested.
“Our nurses have been being mistreated by members of county assembly and now we have raised our voices so that justice can be done,” added Oigo.
On the same note Kisii Central OCPD Francis Nguli said that they have received complaints from the nurse’s who were assaulted by the MCA and they have launched an investigation so that justice is done.
According to the reports, the MCA allegedly slapped the Nurse who was on duty at Oresi health center on Tuesday when he took a woman who was to deliver accusing her of not assisting them.
