Kisii County Education Board chairman Dr Henry Onderi has dissolved the board of management of Nyabisia (Nyamache) and Iyenga  (Kenyenya) secondary schools.

This comes days after board members of the two schools were accused of inciting the community to eject the principals. 

Dr Onderi said that at Iyenga secondary school the principal was locked out of his office and even denied the right to sign cheques.

"If there is an issue in the school it's good for stakeholders to have a dialogue instead of ejecting the newly posted principals," he said. 

He said that parents will be asked to appoint new board members on Monday next week.
