Nyabururu National Girls' High School principal Joyce Orioki has come under sharp criticism after she allegedly sent away 10 students for going back to school late after mid-term holidays.
For the last one week parents have been saying that Ms Orioki sent away students yet it was too late but in a quick rejoinder, she said some parents were spreading propaganda.
"No student was sent home as it is being claimed. All students returned to school on Monday and in time. The information making rounds on social media is false," she said.
She asked parents whose kids were denied a chance in the school during the form one intake to stop tainting her image and that of the school.
"Parents whose children missed admission in the school are the one behind the malice. I and other teachers will not succumb to the false accusations. No student is out of school because all of them are in school," she said.
Ms Orioki asked education officials to visit the school and conduct investigations.
She was speaking on Sunday in her office.
